All personal data is processed in accordance with the requirements for the processing and security of data, which are set out in Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on free movement of such data and the repeal of Directive 95/46 / EC (General Data Protection Regulation) of 27 April 2016 (“GDPR”), as well as in accordance with any other applicable provisions on the protection of personal data.

What personal data do we collect and why do we collect it?

Escape room reservations

You can book each of our Escape Rooms via the booking form on our website or by phone. In both cases, you are asked to provide us with the following personal data:
  • Your name and surname,
  • contact e-mail address,
  • contact phone number.
Providing the above information is voluntary, but in the event of refusal to provide any of them, it is not possible to make a reservation.

The data you provide is associated with the booking number, and if you choose to pay online, also with the payment ID.

We collect this data for the purpose of booking:

  • your name and surname are used to identify you as the right person for making the reservation previously made,
  • we use the e-mail address to send you a message confirming the booking,
  • we need the telephone number to be able to contact you immediately in the event of the need to provide important information related to the booking (e.g. the need to postpone it due to a random event)

Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser associated with the website you are visiting.

Personal data entered in the Escape Room booking form are saved in cookies. Thanks to this, when you want to make another booking, the data will be loaded from cookies, freeing you from having to re-enter them, thus simplifying the booking process.

When you visit the website for the first time, you can see a message informing you about the use of cookies – clicking the Allow button next to it saves a cookie with a message not to show this message again.

The cookies mentioned above expire after 1 year, but if you want, you can delete them earlier using the appropriate option in your browser.

In addition, a session identification cookie is saved in your browser each time you visit the website. It is needed in the process of booking Riddles Rooms – thanks to it, the server is informed that during the next stages of the booking process (and making payments, if the Internet payment option has been selected), it is dealing with the same user. The data contained in this cookie is not associated with any personal data and the user’s identity is not determined on their basis. This cookie expires after 120 minutes of inactivity on the website.

You can disable the cookies function in your browser, but then you will not be able to book a Puzzle Room using the form.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may contain embedded content (e.g. videos, pictures, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in a similar way as if the user has visited a specific website directly.

Who do we share data with?

At the time of booking Escape Rooms, we transfer your personal data along with the associated booking number to LockMe. We do this to enable our booking engine to interact with this site. The rules for further processing of your personal data on the LockMe website are set out in its privacy policy: When making a booking with payment via the Internet (via Przelewy24 or PayPal), we transfer the personal data provided by you in the booking form along with the associated booking number and payment ID to the appropriate payment service provider for the payment of the booking. What rights do you have over your data?

If you have made a reservation for our Puzzle Room, you can request a file with an exported set of your personal data in our possession, including all of those provided by you. You also have the right to correct, change or rectify your personal data, request that we delete all of this data, request restriction of processing, object to their processing, request their transfer, and withdraw consent to their processing at any time without affecting lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. This does not include any data that we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal or security purposes.

How long do we keep your data and how do we protect it?

We store your personal data for an indefinite period of time, in electronic form, stored on the server, in a password-protected database. Third parties do not have access to the personal data we hold about you.

Which third parties do we receive data from?

In addition to personal data provided to us by users of our website, we also receive them from the LockMe website – this is information about the data made on this website (under this address) for our Escape Room reservations, which include the following personal data:
  • first name and last name,
  • e-mail adress,
  • phone number
We apply the same rules to them as to the personal data provided to us via our website.
